How to Pack for Conservative Travels!

How to pack.

A few countries I have travels to were ones that I packed differently. In the past I went to Morocco and Turkey, which I felt were places I wanted to dress more conservatively.  Sites to see included mosques, which require you to be covered. Shorts and uncovered shoulders were not allowed. Some also require you to cover your head, so it is handy to pack a scarf.

Here are some of my tips for how to dress:

When I first went to Morocco it was the month of march. The temperatures were going to be in the 60-80 F range. I knew it might we warm in the sun so I wanted light materials with good coverage.

When I visited Turkey the temperatures and a need for conservative clothing were my priority. It was also march with forecasts of 60-70 F.

Jumpsuits.

These are my favorite travel items regarless, but they were perfect for both these trips.

Most styles are flowly and light. Your legs will be covered so no need to worry about bringing extra clothes for mosques or churches. Some might not have shoulders covered, but you can always carry a light cover.

Here is a list os jumpsuits that would be great for traveling. Click the image to vie the link.

Traveling in jumpsuits can be really comfortable for the plane ride. I love the soft and stretchy cotton ones. Long sleeve or short sleeve there is nothing that compares to the comfy and stylish.

Another travel shirt I love is my light tunic like blouse. This was a great purchase I made for my Morocco trip and one I have worn so many time since. I wish it was still for sale and in different colors because it is light and airy.

It packs so well and is great because it has long sleeves. The material is so light that even though it has sleeves, which protect from the sun without making you sweaty.

As for the scarves, these are great to pack not only because you must put one on to enter mosques and churches. I carry them around in my travel backpack because sometimes you can use it as a shall of regular neck scarf if is chilly.

Since we traveled both times in march it was chilly in the shade on in the mountains.
